The Fort Collins Autism Resource Fair doesn't endorse specific agencies and practices, but we do want to provide the community with ways to critically evaluate potential services. Here are some questions that may help you make informed decisions when choosing the people who will work with you and your family.

• Can you tell me a little about your background (e.g.training, credentials, experience)?
• Are you a licensed practitioner? In what field?
• What kinds of services do you provide?
• Are your services evidence-based?
• What are the usual benefits of this intervention? 
• Are there any side-effects that we should be thinking about?
• How do you communicate with the people you work with (e.g. email, phone)?
• What are the options for paying for services (e.g. insurance, private pay, medicaid, etc.)?
• When can I expect for services to start?
• What are your policies around Covid-19?
